Here’s something I’m working on for Blair Drawson’s Visual Narrative class. I’m writing a fairy-tale / folk tale story and I’m trying to develop what the visuals will look like. The buggy caterpillar lady I posted before was another exploration piece, and so was the lime-flavoured girl.
Anyone who is Ilya: Cover your eyes, ’cause here’s a political illustration!

This was for today’s issue of DOSE. Check it out! It accompanies a short news story about Harper picking out his cabinet. They cropped it for publication though, here it is in its original glory.

Extinction stories and other such madness.
Made with inks, a secret ingredient, and a lot of love.

I’m gonna add this new piece of mine to the already heaping helping of art we’ve had over the past few days. It’s going to be screenprinted, so I’ll be sure to post it for comparison’s sake (but that won’t be for a while).

Wheeee, my first post! Hello, everybody! I decided to rip off Julia and post my go at the global warming project that’s due tomorrow. It’s a graph… but it’s also fire! Wow!
I wonder how many people did graphs for this project. I should have been really creative and drawn a graph with carbon dioxide levels decreasing…

Here’s another logo I created for a campaign by the Canadian Arts Coalition to get people to vote for someone who was supporting the arts. The idea was to raise funds by $5 per canadian. Now that the Cons are in power, I guess we’re going to have to make Vote Arts 2008. Too bad for us!
