hey thanks ryan - it was for a short story called “Lizard Man” about two dudes going out to one of their late father’s home to collect the estate who discover a huge alligator in the back yard. There’s a lot of duality happening in the story (that of father and son, etc), plus the character whose father died has crazy dragon tattoos on his arms, so i went with a merge… kind of worked with the animal mix stuff that i’ve been doing
Dear Martin,
I just wanted to send you a thousand, thousand thanks for illustrating my story. Your painting is beautiful! It’s wonderful to see another artist’s interpretation of one’s own work like this. I’d love to talk more. Could you email me?
Best,
Jamie
